Principle

Catalytic Combustion Principle
Mainly used for detecting combustible gases such as methane and propane. The combustion of gas on the surface of the catalyst generates heat, causing a change in the resistance of the platinum wire and thus calculating the concentration.

Electrochemical Principle
Used for detecting oxygen (O₂), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), etc. The oxidation-reduction reaction between gas and electrolyte generates an electric current, and the current intensity is proportional to the gas concentration.

Infrared Principle (NDIR):
Used for detecting carbon dioxide (CO₂), methane (CH₄), etc. Using the absorption characteristics of gases on specific infrared spectra to measure concentration has strong anti-interference ability.

PID Photoionization Principle
Used for detecting volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Using ultraviolet light to ionize gas molecules and reflecting concentration by detecting ion current.

Application Field

Industrial Safety
Used in industries such as petrochemicals, natural gas, electricity, metallurgy, etc. to monitor gas leaks during production processes, prevent fires, explosions, and poisoning accidents.

Closed Space Operations
Confined spaces such as sewers, storage tanks, tunnels, and ship cabins, to check for sufficient oxygen and the accumulation of toxic gases.

Environmental Monitoring
Environmental protection departments use it to monitor the emissions of air pollutants (such as SO₂, VOC) and evaluate indoor air quality.

Emergency Rescue
Fire and safety supervision departments quickly determine the type and concentration of hazardous gases at the scene of accidents such as fires and chemical leaks, and assist in rescue decision-making.
