Principle
The working principle of a Marine air driven hydraulic pump is similar to that of a reciprocating supercharger. The bottom piston is controlled by two four-way pilot valves. When the driving piston runs upward, negative pressure is generated in the pump, and the liquid is sucked into the pump through the check valve at the entrance, and the exit check valve is closed. When the piston runs down, a certain pressure is formed on the liquid side, and the pressure closes the check valve at the entrance, opens the check valve at the exit, and the liquid is discharged. This automatic circulation process ensures the continuous operation of the pump.
