The travel switch can be installed on a relatively stationary object (such as a fixed frame, door frame, etc., referred to as still life) or a moving object (such as a car, door, etc., referred to as an animal). When the animal approaches the still life, the connecting rod of the switch drives the switch contact, causing the closed contact to break or the open contact to close. The action of the circuit and mechanism is controlled by the change of the open and close state of the switch contact.

Type characteristics
Conventional domestic travel switch
In the conventional stroke switch, LX19-001/111 in the LX19 series, LXK3-20S/T in the LXK3 series, and JLXK1 series JLXK1-111/411/511 are the most representative. These products have the advantages of simple structure, practical function and low price, and are favored by the majority of users.

Direct acting travel switch
The action principle is similar to the button, except that one is manual, and the other is collided by the bumping block of the moving part. When the bumping block on the external moving part presses the button to make the contact move, when the moving part leaves, the contact automatically resets under the action of the spring.

Roller type travel switch
When the stop iron (bumping block) of the moving machine presses on the roller of the travel switch, the transmission lever rotates together with the rotating shaft, so that the CAM pushes the bumping block, and when the bumping block presses to a certain position, the micro-switch is pushed to move quickly. When the stop on the roller is removed, the reset spring causes the travel switch to reset. This is a single-wheel automatic recovery stroke switch. The two-wheel rotary travel switch can not be automatically restored, it is to rely on the reverse movement of the moving machinery, the stop iron collision with another roller to restore it.
When the ram on the controlled machine hits the ram with a roller, the ram turns to the right, drives the CAM to rotate, pushes the rod up and down, and makes the contacts in the microswitch move quickly. When the moving machine returns, under the action of the reset spring, each part of the moving parts are reset.
